Explore interactive exhibits, hands-on science, technology, engineering and maths activities, and exciting digital experiences designed to spark curiosity and inspire young learners. Suitable for children aged 3–8 and their families.

Join STEM Starts and Moray Council Libraries Digital Team for a fun-filled STEM discovery session at the STEM Starts Discovery Centre in Elgin. Children and families can explore interactive exhibits and take part in hands-on science, technology, engineering, maths and digital activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
The STEM Starts programme aims to inspire a love of learning from an early age, helping children build confidence and develop future-ready skills through play and exploration. While activities are designed with children aged 3–8 in mind, there will be something for the whole family to enjoy.
Places are free but booking is essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and attendees are asked to bring grippy socks or indoor shoes for safe exploration of the centre.
