From Kitchens to Music Production
Dennis joined Moray SWAP for employment support. One of his passions is playing guitar and he has 18K followers on Tiktok for his music videos.
Dennis completed a music production course over 6 weeks to give him more knowledge on the creative industry as well as learning new skills. We are continuing to support Dennis to look for employment where he can use his skills to succeed.
Dennis said:
"I really enjoyed the music course and feel that it gave me a confidence boost. Moray SWAP has helped me move forward for looking for employment and the employability team have been great with all the support they have given me"
Catherine’s Confidence Blooms With Support
Catherine’s journey with Moray Swap has been transformative. Despite autism and anxiety once keeping her home, she’s now earned qualifications in Multiply – Level 4, Problem Solving, and more, plus attended workshops. After interviewing for a Therapeutic Gardener role at REAP (Keith), she wasn’t hired but was invited to volunteer—gaining skills for future opportunities. With her Work Coach and Moray Swap’s support, she’s now thriving in courses and volunteering, once unimaginable for her.
Catherine said:
"I am a new version of myself, the same me but more confident and this is a version I never imagined I could be or could embrace. I'm lucky as I have had amazing people who have been amazing with the support they give, and they never give up on me"
