Communities, Learning & Development
Youth Work Employability offers personal development support for young people engaging in the keyworker service through the provision of targeted group work.
Youth workers work with young people to identify barriers they face and develop programmes of work that address these needs. Youth work provision is both structured and informal, offers opportunities for leisure and fun, and supports and celebrates achievement. Young people play a crucial role in building and evaluating the work.
Mentoring Young Talent
In-school support (S1- S6)
MYT supports young people aged 12–16 in school who may require additional support for a variety of reasons, including care experienced, young carers, social work involvement, non-school attender or reduced timetables and social and emotional wellbeing
Young people are supported by an employability keyworker and matched to a suitable, trained volunteer mentor for one-to-one support. This will occur within the school day for the duration of a year.
Post school (16 – 24 yrs)
MYT can support young people aged 16–24 who have left school and are still identifying their next steps in employment, training, or further education. An employability keyworker will match the young person to a trained volunteer mentor. Alongside the yearlong mentoring support the employability keyworker will also provide employability support for the young person to identify areas of targeted support to progress onto a positive destination.

Who We Support
At Moray Pathways, we believe that confidence and preparation are key to success. Our “Perfect Patter” course is designed to help individuals overcome interview nerves, develop their unique selling points, and learn how to present themselves effectively to potential employers. Whether you’re new to interviews or returning after a long break, this course equips you with the tools to stand out and succeed.
In this case study, we take a closer look at the impact of “Perfect Patter” through the experiences of those who attended.
